For people who know of Canada’s first Prime Minister, you are forgiven for assuming that he must have been in this little house in Stewart. However, the prospector who built this little house in the 1930s was John ANGUS MacDonald. The house was several blocks away from the inn when it was purchased and moved to its current location beside the creek. Much of the original interior has been kept in place while renovating to match the “modern and rustic” theme of the inn.
The cutest part of this little house is the loft located on the upper floor which has one queen bed. There is a view of the estuary and the boardwalk begins close by. With a kitchen, private bath and a living room, this is a great home away from home for a few days. Daily housekeeping is not provided.
