The kitchen and sitting room are set up exclusively for guests staying in the Gun-an-noot house which makes this space an excellent choice for larger groups of people who are traveling to Stewart. The house can accommodate up to eight people, there are two suites in the house, one downstairs and the other upstairs. Both suites have one main bedroom with a queen bed, one adjoining bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a cast iron tub/with shower. The views from these rooms of the estuary are amazing.
This house is referred to locally as the 'Gun-An-Noot Place', it was also a 'house of ill repute' in the late 1920's. In 1996, this building was relocated from 2nd avenue to it's current location beside the Main Lodge of Ripley Creek Inn. Inside the house you will find rooms #500 and #501 (formerly rooms #16/17 & #18/19), which have views of the estuary and of the mountains surrounding our little town.
